Continued demand for a “Super Snake” post title package has led Shelby Automobiles to unveil a new program to turn a limited number of 2010 Ford Shelby GT500s into Shelby super cars. The Super Snake package will include enhancements to the 2010 Ford Shelby GT500’s handling, styling and power; output ratings will range from 630 to over 725 horsepower. Exclusivity will be assured as a limited number of Super Snakes will be built at the Shelby Autos facility in Las Vegas or one of the Mod Shops, beginning in August 2009.
January 2009 Mustang Sales Figures Released, New Monthly Low
It's official folks, according to sales figures released from Ford Motor Company a new record monthly low for Mustang sales. January 2009 is now on record for having the lowest Mustang sales ever in Ford's 45 year history of producing the Mustang. The old record was just set a few months back in November with 3,667 units sold, January's sales were lower by 723 units
Saleen Inc Sells Big Portion of Assets to MJ Aquisitions
Saleen Inc, the company founded 25 years ago by Steve Saleen and now
owned by Los Angeles based Hancock Park Associates is selling off a big
portion of their assets to MJ Acquisitions who controls and operates a
family of automotive companies.
Developed under Ford’s Special Vehicle Team, the new 2010 Shelby GT500 is the most powerful SVT product to date with 540 horsepower, a host of exterior & interior enhancements, suspension improvements and better highway fuel efficiency.
