Saleen Inc is introducing another limited edition Mustang, the 2008 Saleen S281 RF Supercharged. The S281 RF will be limited to just 100 units and will only be available in two colors, Black and Alloy with red graphics.
From a distance this 1967 Mustang looks like your typical classic restomod until you take a closer look and notice it’s nothing short of modern technology at it’s finest.
If you did not read our previous post about Shelby and Unique Performance I will give you the real quick lowdown. Carroll Shelby’s licensing branch made it public they were severing ties with Unique Performance who builds continuation Shelby vehicles because of numerous complaints and lawsuits filed by customers who have put down deposits and have yet to recieve their car.
At this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas ’Prostang’ will debut as a collaborative effort of master auto painter Santini-USA, the master interior craftsmanship of Steve Stanford Design and Roush Performance.
Another Mustang at this year’s SEMA show will be the Mustang Wild Pony Project from Ford’s Vehicle Personalization Group.
